Famously lending its name to Linkin Park's successful 2003 album, Meteora (Μετέωρα, Greek for "suspended rocks", "suspended in the air") is an UNESCO World Heritage Site and a complex of monasteries built on natural sandstone rock pillars in central Greece.
The bank holiday weekend was a great opportunity for me to go back to those old rocks and take a better look at them, even from afar...
